[ mechanical crazy heads ] pascal & mireu
[ Just another day, really. Pascal is in her usual spot at the repairs shop. Today she's working on a motorcycle. It looks pretty beat up; missing wheels and suspended on cinder blocks. It's practically a skeleton right now. There are pieces scattered everywhere too but Pascal seems to know exactly what piece to put where whenever she reaches down to grab it, never even bothering to look. The same goes for the tools that are equally in disarray. It's a goddamn mess. The motorcycle looks pretty average but Pascal is trying her hardest to change that at the moment. This isn't going to be just any motorcycle.
Her life here wasn't really so bad although she missed her friends and her sister very much. She knew she would see them again someday though so she never felt discouraged. For now it was important she just focus on what she could do here.
And that was, apparently, making messes. Goggles over her eyes, Pascal is currently very focused on her work. She isn't really paying attention to anyone who happens to wander in (even if she's suppose to since it's kind of her job). ]

Though walking in on her workspace to see what she's doing to the motorcycle makes him feel like he picked exactly the right time to walk in and pay a visit.
It's not like she's done enough work at this point for him to really tell what she's going for with this without taking a closer look, but he can tell she's been doing a lot of work on this thing, and that it won't end up functioning like your typical motorcycle when she's done with it. What it's going to look like and act like? He can't say, but he definitely wants to know. ]
Looks impressive so far.

Thanks! It's gonna need a lot more TLC but I think I can make it work and when I do that guy is going to be so totally bummed he gave up on the poor thing!
[She's grinning at the thought... then suddenly pauses. She perks up a bit and finally glances up at him, pulling her goggles up to blink. She looks perplexed and then her grin returns.]
Oh hey! Fancy seeing you here! [Yes, she had replied to him without even registering it was him at first.]

Honestly, by the time she turns around and acts a little surprised to see Mireu in particular? He's not surprised. He didn't get the feeling she was paying a whole lot of attention to the "who" of who walked in. He's not overly offended, but that doesn't mean he won't poke at her a bit for it. ]
Fancy seeing me? With that look for a second I thought you'd forgotten me.
[ An exaggerated sigh, and a small head shake. The fake disappointment doesn't last long, because he's sliding up to that bike to get a better look. ]

I'd never forget! My memory is super sharp. [She taps her forehead triumphantly with her fingers. Okay it was mostly sharp. Sharp for certain things.
She stands up and stretches her arms over her head as he approaches her work, smiling.] What do you think? I'm trying to make it all futuristic and stuff. Maybe I can get it to hover?

Mireu gives a low, appreciative hum at the remark about making it hover. ]
It looks the part already. If it doesn't hover yet what does it do so far?
